+JMJ+

I'm taking a break from posting "Diary of a Somber Prince" and doing a random post.

Which of my books are my favorites. This will be difficult question as I literally have 100s, both finished and unfinished. It was a difficult choice, but these were the ones I came up with. They are in no particular order.

Book #1

When Ben escapes he finds himself alone with no hope of finding his family. Armed with a treasure map and a pirate medallion, Ben sets off on an adventure to escape his pursuers and find the treasure. But not all treasure glitters. Why has General Dalston sworn to kill Ben? 1. Your pirate story sounds really fun (and reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean and Treasure Island), and I am sure the storyline is awesome! :D
Also Giant Slayers of Outer Space I think sounds awesome, as a person to recently got into the Doctor Who fandom, I really like your use of the Regeneration in the story. :) I also love your choice of having a woman warrior as the hero in the story (I love strong girl characters.)
And the Sword of Camelot sounds amazing too, and I am interested to see what you do with the Arthurian legends. :D

    1. I had those in mind when I started writing the pirate story, but I don't think it's a ripoff, although I have written POTC ripoffs. :D
Giant Slayers of Outer Space was actually based off a dream I had. The regeneration totally is a Dr. Who ripoff. Although I won't watch any of the new seasons. Peter Capaldi and on up. Saf is definitely a strong woman warrior.
Sword of Camelot is based off of King Arthur, but I tend to stray and no really add much from the original stories. Thanks for commenting.

    2. I could tell they were inspired by that. :)
Oooh, neat, I like David Tennant's Doctor and Jodie Whittaker's doctor (though I have only seen a few clips of her version of the doctor, but I like her version already. :D)
      You're welcome. :)

    3. P.S. I would LOVE to read some snippets from these stories since they sound amazing, so if you ever feel like posting a snippet or two sometime, I would gladly read it. :D

    4. My two favorite Doctors were Matt Smith and Tom Baker. I personally enjoyed a lot of the really old ones. I don't like the idea of the Doctor being a girl. It's not right in my opinion. As for Peter Capaldi, I didn't really like most of the episodes he was in, so I never really gave him a fair chance.

That's great. I'll get around to posting snippets eventually. :D

    5. I actually disagree with that. Because the new doctor, Jodie Whittaker's version allows little girls (and all girls) to have a role model to look up to. (Who isn't assisting the doctor, but actually IS the doctor.) And I am glad that Doctor Who actually decided to create a quirky female doctor. :D

    6. P.S. the snippets you posted are beautiful.

    7. You put a very good reason, but I think that's coming to close to transgender. The Doctor is a man, and they've always been girl heavy on the companions, so why do they need another girl?

      Thank you, Quinley.
