"Light" is the first book in the series "Earth Guardians," which takes place in the future.

The main character, Tara Cormack is an alien. She possesses the alien power of lighting up like a light bulb but can't control it really well. Her friend Terese Diego can turn invisible at well. The third character on the cover, Patrick Luke, doesn't have a power.
