"Lady Cinderella and Prince" John part 2

+JMJ+

A continuation of this POST.

The first ball was themed on the different desert tribes.

Queen Ariveilrilisdirebul was the first of the hopeful want to be brides to arrive.

She was followed by a barbaric princess from Flagrin, a giggly princess from the Northern Shores and of course the horrid lady Miranda and her not so charming daughters.

The Prince had little desire to associate with any of these ladies, so he asked his mother for the first dance. Even as he danced with her, the very rich and ever so "charming" Princess Shelwona of Iske entered. The queen favored her, as she was extremely rich.

As the Princes was being forced to choose a dance partner, a more agreeable lady entered the ball, called Lady Cinderella.

To the disappointment of all the other ladies present, the prince asked her to dance.

The ladies were disappointed, but the men were pleased.

Furious, Lady Miranda tried to get her daughters onto the dance floor. Blanche found a partner, but Hazel was turned down flat.

But wonder of wonders, Lady Miranda found a small little man who was willing to escort Hazel. The two had so much in common. Namely food.

The Second Ball was themed after the exotic pirates of the Frestone Ocean.

Prince Jerome and the jester may have been excited, but the king and the village men were not pleased with the second ball.

Ariveilrealisdirebul returned and was able to dance with John, much to his dismay and her delight.

It was a painful dance.

Blanche tricked the Prince into thinking he had asked her to dance about it. Then she gloated over it to the horror of the rest of the royal family.

Lady Miranda was thrilled and just had to hug her darling daughter.

Hazel meanwhile had been escorted to the Ball by her small little man and the two of them enjoyed the refreshments.

John danced with Blanche, while Lady Miranda and Master Won danced on one side, eavesdropping on their conversation. On the other side Elise and Jerome planned to sabotage the dance, for fear that John liked Blanche.

Jerome, Elise and the jester eavesdropped on John and Cinderella, and ruin a romantic game of chess.

The Third Ball was themed on peacocks. Big pretty beautiful peacocks.

Most of the girls were sulky and angry by the third Ball.

The Fairy Godmother showed up and organized a line dance.

Meanwhile, John kept sneezing as he was allergic to peacocks. He ended up running out of doors for some fresh air and meeting Cinderella. She left her shoe behind when the clock struck midnight.

After the Balls were over, even before the servants finished cleaning up the mess, Lady Miranda came to the palace and paid Master Won a bit of money to ensure that one of her daughters fit the shoe. She also gave him the idea to make all the girls in the kingdom try the shoe on. After all not even a clever man like Won could come up with that on his own.

The Queen had a little heart to heart chat with John about the future of the kingdom.

Life in the kingdom returns to normal, or so it would seem.

Here comes the trumpet blower.

A procession of servants and guards are bringing glass slipper on a litter.

Master Won unrolls his scroll and announces that John will marry whomever fits the slipper.

Immediately all girls and women present start fighting over the slipper.

Then who should show up, but Blanche herself. She quickly spies John, who is watching the event in secret.

Blanche attempts to fit the slipper and grows angry and violent.

John orders her to be taken away.

Once Blanche is gone, John tells Jerome and Elise that he is going to disguise himself and follow the procession.

He rushes off to get into his costume and leaves the girls and women to try their luck with the shoe.

Blanche meanwhile returns home, complains about John and reveals that the mysterious lady is Cinderella.

Hazel spies the procession out the window.

Before letting  them in, Lady Miranda locks Cinderella in the closet and threatens to throw her daughters in a black pit in Iske if they ruin their big moment. John secretly follow the procession into the house and only the jester notices.

John lets Cinderella out of the closet, but Won smashes the slipper and tries to arrest her. John makes an entrance and turns the tables.

Meanwhile back at the castle the royal family wonders what happened to John.

To their surprise John returns with the Lady Miranda, Master Won, Hazel and Blanche as his prisoners.

And so ends the story with a happily ever after. The bad guys got banished or drafted into service.

Three maids slash young Cinderella and stepsisters curtsy.

Master Won and Lady Miranda received a lot of booing.

Many cheers for the lead actor and actress.
