I have been meaning to make a character of the week post for a long time. Every week I will really introduce one of my characters to you.
This weeks character is a favorite of mine.
Johnathon Alvarez Smith Dulzer
This is how he appears in in "Justice Begins."
Johnny at age eleven (Drawn by my sister Rosie)
Johnny at age eleven.
Eleven year old Johnny in his first Mask costume.
Year: 3985
Name: Johnathon
Middle Name: Alvarez Smith
Last Name: Dulzer
Age: Eleven
Justice Hero Identity: Mask
Superpower: Shapeshifting
Book: "Justice Begins"
Favorite Color: Red and Green
Favorite Book: Calvin and Hobbes
Favorite TV Show: Triumphs and Failures (This does not air until until the year 3960 so that would explain why you never heard of it. Yeah, I made it up)
Favorite Movie: Anything Sci-fi
Personality: ENTP (He turns into a ENTJ as he gets older)
First book he was ever in: "Thunder in the Acedemy" (Which takes place like 23 years later then "Justice Begins")
First time he was introuduced:
“He
he!” a boyish voice chuckled and a tall thin young man in a green
leafy armor type outfit, with black paints and green leaf designed
boots, popped up behind Iron Fist. His face was hidden by a big leafy
looking mask of leather.
“What
do you want?” Iron Fist snarled.
“Old
Captain gave you a good tongue lashing!” he snickered.
“Shut
up, Mask!” Moth growled, “We've seriously had enough of your
constant misbehavior!”
“We
have, not we've!” Mask chortled and sauntered off.
“I'm
gonna kill 'im!” Iron Fist cried.
“I am
going to kill him, not I'm gonna kill 'im.” Mask called back as he
knelt down next to Star Queen and peered into the hole.

First Time young Johnny was introduced:
“Johnathon
Dulzer!” that particular young man's mother screamed, as her nine
year old son flew past dragging the cat by its tail, the remainder of
the drapes still clenched in its claws. He was sneezing. The boy not
the cat. Johnny Dulzer was allergic to cats, but he brought so many
strays home, that his mother decided to get a permanent cat, so he
would stop bringing home new ones. The boy insisted on playing with
the cat, even though it made his face get all puffy, and gave him a
violent attack of sneezing and coughing.
“What?”
the boy asked innocently.
“Stop
torturing the cat and put the drapes back up!” his mother shrilled,
her face beat red. The young boy, drew himself up to his full height,
which was still fairly short.
“Madame,
I assure you that I-” he was interrupted by a gigantic sneeze. His
mother frowned.

A grown up Johnny now called Mr. John Smith.
Once Johnny asked his older brother if he could be in the Justice Heroes, Jeremiah replied, Not until you have grown responsible enough to raise a child. Johnny remembers this challenge and brings it up in the far future after he has raised Jeremiah's son all by himself. Unless you count the housekeeper's help.

Oh boy....poor guy, you would think he would avoid cats if he was allergic to them. Then again, I used to have a roommate who was allergic to dogs, but had dogs all her life and loves them to pieces, so I guess it makes some sense.
ReplyDeleteI loved your snippet, it was really good!

His friends all call him crazy. :D He doesn't make a lot of sense though, he likes confusing people. But it's nice to know that other people have done that. :D But with a dog, not a cat. Maybe he isn't so crazy as I thought.
DeleteThank you.
