Adventures of a Pirate drawings

This is Benjamin Raswel from my series "The Adventures of a Pirate."
Ben was the son of a blacksmith and lived with his family on an island in the Caribbean. Then one day the soldiers came. They branded Ben and his family with the blackmark, which basically meant that he was the son of a pirate. Ben escapes aboard a ship and discovers that he has the map to the greatest treasure in the Caribbean. The legendary treasure of Blackhawk. While Ben is trying to find the treasure, he is being hunted by General Dalston who believes Ben is the son of the evil pirate Blackjack. But the General wouldn't mind helping himself to the treasure.

Ben rescues Juliana Howard in book two, but fails to save her sister as well. She is very upset with him for that, but then joins him to reclaim the treasure he found in the first book and save one of his brothers from getting hanged.

Annette Dalston. Ben meets her in the first book and she appears in all the books. She is the daughter of General Dalston, but almost from the beginning sides with Ben. She doesn't believe her father is completely in the right, and thinks that he is being unnecessarily cruel to Ben. Not to mention acting like a common thief. She ends up marrying one of Ben's brothers in the end of book two.
Lucy Raswel is the youngest in the Raswel family. She appears in the first and the last books. After escaping from the island she disguised herself and joined the pirate crew of one of Ben's friends, Alex Ralston.
Margret Raswel, is the second youngest in the Raswel family. She also only appears in the first and the last books. After escaping from the island she became a maid in a governor's household. While accompanying the governor's son to the colonies the ship was attacked by pirates. She ends up marrying Andrew Raswel another friend of Ben.
Thomas Raswel is the second oldest in the Raswel family. He was supposedly killed in the first book, and I am not sure how to get around that yet.

 The Raswel family.
Back row: James, Matthew, Captain Raswel, Thomas
Front Row: Benjamin, Margret, Lucy, Madame Raswel, Philip.

A drawing I did a couple of years ago. This is what the famous painting in the story is supposed to look like.

This is the cover for the first book.
The "Black Horizon" is the ship, the people are: General Dalston, John Ralston, Annette Dalston and Ben.

Ben comes in possession of a map which supposedly leads to the mysterious treasure of Blackhawk on the legendary Crescent Island.

This is the old cover for the second book. I never finished the newer cover.
The Characters are Stephen Fuller and Juliana Howard in the back. Benjamin Raswel and William Dalston in the front.

Ben has found the treasure of Crescent Island then lost it in a storm. Then General Dalston forms a revenge plot and demands the treasure to be handed over to him in exchange for the life of James Raswel, Ben's brother.
The Black Storm

Ben and his crew leave Port Royal behind to hunt for the pirate hunter known as the Shark, and stop him before he can kill Ben's old friend Ralston. Unfortunately the twice traitor Daniel Murray is back, and stirring things up again among the crew. Ben may find the Shark but he may lose his ship and his crew in the process.

I didn't start the forth and last book so there is no cover for it.

    1. Thanks Claire!
I don't really think I'm that good of a drawer. People rarely turn out how I want them too. I'm not going to even mention animals.
